Long-Range 2 builds on the introductory course and moves shooters into more advanced external ballistics and real-world application. Over two days (16 hours), you’ll refine your understanding of ballistic solvers, validate muzzle velocity, and true your rifle so predicted data aligns with actual impacts. Instruction covers environmental inputs, density altitude shifts, and bullet behavior as it approaches trans-sonic distances.
Wind becomes a primary focus, with structured drills designed to improve terrain reading, mirage interpretation, and correction under pressure. Positional shooting is expanded beyond basic prone, emphasizing stability, recoil control, and faster decision-making. Expect increased trigger time and real-time coaching throughout.
Completion of the intro course is required unless prior experience is approved by the instructor.
