Reade Range

Located at 1257 Wippers Road in Fallen Timber, PA, Reade Range is a private match-focused facility designed for serious long-range competitors. It supports distances out to 1,000 yards, with matches sanctioned by the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) and governed under its long-range rulebook.

The range is best known for hosting the annual Reade Long Range Regional Championship, featuring:

• F-Class (Open and F-TR), Palma, Service Rifle, and Any Rifle categories
• HexTA Electronic Targets
• 5x1000-yard individual stages, plus 2-man team matches
• Open practice days, squatted relays, and structured scoring duty
• On-site camping (behind 500–600 yard lines) and daily complimentary meals

Match registration is conducted by mail only, with a range capacity of 70 shooters. Events are open to the public, although regular access is likely restricted to members.

The facility’s terrain includes open firing lines with designated staging areas and a west-side camping zone. Although not explicitly PRS/NRL-oriented, the Reade Range is purpose-built for precision long-range disciplines,  ideal for competitive shooters training for CMP, NRA, or team-based matches.
